Founded in 2025, Ansar NC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in North Carolina, dedicated to upholding the spirit of zakat and strengthening local communities.
Our Story
From study to service
Ansar NC was founded by students of knowledge deeply moved by zakat: its purpose, its beauty, and its power to transform lives.
What began as study and reflection quickly turned into action. Inspired to bring those teachings to life, they stepped into their own communities to make a tangible difference.
From that sincere intention, Ansar NC was born as a transparent, faith-driven organization dedicated to turning knowledge into service and compassion into action.
Today, we continue that mission by connecting givers and recipients of zakat across North Carolina, ensuring every act of giving fulfills its true purpose.

Every donation is handled with care. Our volunteer team ensures each zakat contribution reaches verified recipients who truly need it.
All programs and operations are grounded in traditional Sunni scholarship, ensuring zakat is collected and distributed in accordance with established Islamic guidance.
